Kendall County Commissioners on July 14 authorized the county judge to accept four separate Texas Water Development Board flood‑mitigation grants for a countywide Drainage Master Plan, one resolution for each watershed phase. The grants total $2,677, (approx.) across four phases; required county matches range from $100,000 to $208,750 depending on the phase. Christina, the county staff lead on the applications, told the court the county had been awarded all four phases and that the awards were presented as separate phases so each could be approved and budgeted individually.
