County staff presented an added agenda item: a contract with the CSRA Regional Commission to administer a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application and provide grant administration services. Staff said the regional commission historically administered the county's CDBG grant work and would prepare and submit the grant application at no cost to the county; the administration services would be paid from the grant funds and would require no county funding if the application is unsuccessful.
