County engineer: several rural bridges unsafe; board approves closures and lower load limits

After a consulting inspection, Woodbury County will close or reduce load limits on several rural bridges (including N191, P006, Q018 and V117). Supervisor and staff discussion emphasized replacement costs (roughly $500,000–$1,000,000 per structure), limited outside funding and long-term budget shortfalls; board approved the closure/posting resolution 4-0.
