County accepts Raymond Road resurfacing, project under budget
The Board approved final acceptance of the Raymond Road HMA resurfacing project. County Engineer said the project completed milling, base widening and two asphalt lifts, finished under contract and without liquidated damages; final payment requested was $28,641.11 with a total project cost reported at $954,703.61.

County Engineer Cathy Nicholas presented final acceptance documentation for the Raymond Road HMA resurfacing project. She described work including milling, base widening in the City of Raymond, and two lifts of asphalt. Nicholas said the contract came in about 11% under cost and that the contractor completed work within the allotted working days, so no liquidated damages were assessed.
