Committee approves USDA wildlife damage budget, crop prices and 2027 deer donation program

The Sawyer County Land, Water and Forest Resources Committee voted to accept the USDA Wildlife Services 2027 damage budget (agenda item 13b), approve the county crop price proposal for wildlife damage compensation and adopt the 2027 Sawyer County Deer Donation Program. Committee members also set the wildlife damage assessment deadline to Dec. 20 following a clarification from USDA staff.
