Jackson County Engineer Jayden Shekel updated the board on ongoing projects: the 17th Street bridge work is scheduled to begin on Sept. 21, and the Cheltenworth bridge deck pour, originally planned for this Thursday, will likely occur early next week because of the amount of deck forming and steel placement required.
