Staff presented LDCT2026‑8 as a procedural text amendment to chapters 2 and 10 of the Land Development Code to add standards and definitions for standalone vending machines (for example, ice vending machines) and stand‑alone ATMs. Staff stated the county hasn’t consistently regulated such structures and proposed a 15‑foot setback from public rights‑of‑way, a maximum footprint and requirements that standalone machines not reduce required parking for the host site.
