County staff described a proposed EagleView subscription that would fly the entire county and spread its cost across five years. Staff said the vendor breaks the total cost into five annual payments; commissioners discussed whether to fund the service through capital-revolving financing or the county’s general 1690 account. "The agreement that we have, that would be with EagleView already takes the total cost of flying the entire county and breaks it up across 5 years," staff said, noting a subscription model could allow conservation districts, fire districts or private subscribers to offset county expense.
