The Pompano Beach City Commission presented a proclamation on June 9 recognizing Michael Rada for 27 years of service in the building inspections division. Thomas DiGiorgio, chair of the Pompano Beach Economic Development Council, read the proclamation recounting Rada's career rise from housing inspector to building official and praising his leadership in creating an "industry leading" building department.
