City administrator says equity realignment will be phased, with communications and tech work first

City Administrator Raymond Lee told the Committee of the Whole on Sept. 10 that formal decisions on an equity core realignment remain under internal discussion with bureau directors and the chief equity officer. Lee said the administration is examining whether some equity functions should remain embedded in bureaus or be centralized in an equity team and that communications and technology realignments will be completed before any further structural changes.
