Design change proposed for Veterans Memorial shade structure as splash pad plan evolves
Staff said no action has been taken yet on the $100,000 shade structure at Veterans Memorial Field (ATM 2025, Article 33). Committee members reported the design may be divided into two peripheral shade sections to accommodate a proposed central splash pad and asked that any new design and procurement plan be presented to the CPC before funds are committed.

The CPC heard that the Veterans Memorial Field Complex shade structure (ATM 2025, Article 33, $100,000) has not yet proceeded to procurement. Neil Murphy said he was not aware that procurement had started and that the project description remains on the list for discussion.
