County Administrator Kyle Swalls told the council the vendor currently providing the county website is going out of business and the county selected Civic Plus after an RFP process. Swalls said the current website costs about $9,000 per year and the Civic Plus first-year launch cost is $37,000, which includes staff training and onboarding; ongoing annual maintenance costs were said to be lower but not yet finalized. The target launch date for the new site is mid-November 2026, and the county plans to have each department maintain its own pages using Civic Plus's no-code interface.
