Ray Statz, representing Craven Community College, and college finance staff presented the college’s year-end review, a five-year facilities plan and a fiscal-year funding request to the county on May 4. College leaders highlighted several completed and ongoing projects — library and nursing classroom upgrades, a new greenhouse and a forthcoming multiuse facility — and previewed a public-safety training center and corporate training center set to begin operations over the coming year.
