Commissioners debated how to implement an across-the-board $1.50 pay adjustment before approving the full budget. The Chair (S3) proposed the guidance: "So a dollar 50 across the board to the to all the employees who have not already received a dollar 50." Several commissioners objected to prior, unposted raises taken by others and characterized those actions as improper, while supporters said some adjustments were discretionary or made to retain critical staff.
