Council reviewed a draft RFP to retain a national executive-search firm to run the city manager recruitment. Interim City Manager Miss Irwin told council the draft draws on the previous search RFP and includes a tentative schedule; staff asked for council feedback and the ability to adjust dates. Council Member Altman proposed and won an amendment that extended the proposal due date from Sept. 29 to Oct. 13 and moved the tentative award decision to Oct. 20 to allow a 30-day response window.
