Board hears update on landfill study; field work expected this fall

Planning staff provided a brief status update on an environmental/landfill project associated with an applicant identified in meeting materials. The chair said the applicant has been working with EBI Consulting and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation to determine the landfill limits; DEC has requested additional information and EBI is preparing supplemental material. The staff anticipated field work in the fall to finish the supplemental report and said the board would be kept posted.
