An initial application by Joyce Cancel to convert a finished basement into a roughly 600-square-foot accessory apartment was accepted for filing but declared incomplete; the board asked for a zoomed-out site plan showing four parking spaces, removal of a closet to avoid adding a bedroom, and clarification of septic/bathroom capacity.

The board reviewed a first-time application by Joyce Cancel to convert a finished basement into an accessory apartment of about 600 square feet.
