Planning Commission approves amendments to Land Use & Development Code administration and definitions
On Aug. 27, 2026 the City of Brighton Planning Commission approved amendments to Article 1 (Administration) and Article 11 (Definitions) of the Land Use & Development Code after a staff presentation and a 5–0 vote. Staff said the changes comply with LUDC Section 2.10B and the Comprehensive Plan.

The City of Brighton Planning Commission voted 5–0 on Aug. 27, 2026 to approve amendments to Article 1 (Administration) and Article 11 (Definitions) of the Land Use and Development Code. Commissioner Blaine Nickeson moved to approve the resolution; Commissioner Kevin Weiland seconded.
