Commissioners approve Integrity Mechanical maintenance contract with conditions

Sep 9, 2026

The board approved a preventive-maintenance contract with Integrity Mechanical — cited as higher quality though not the lowest bidder — with conditions: remove automatic renewal language, add legal exhibits (E-Verify/non-appropriation), and allow county administrator to sign after final corrections. The annual all-buildings cost listed was $42,000 (prorated to $6,000 for nonoperational buildings) and the price difference versus the lower bidder was $20,000.

The full story

Tommy, the county’s director of operations, presented a preventive-maintenance (PM) agreement with Integrity Mechanical for routine HVAC and mechanical services across county buildings. He said two companies bid; Integrity ranked higher in evaluations for certified technicians, background checks and the services offered.
