Town Supervisor Joseph Cabassini addressed a crowd gathered at the Sergeant Mark C. Palmateer 9/11 Memorial Park in Wappinger on Friday, marking the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks with a call to remember victims and support surviving families. "Nearly 3,000 innocent souls, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, friends, and colleagues were taken from us in an instant," Cabassini said, urging the community to honor the sacrifices and ongoing losses tied to the attacks.
