The Plan Commission approved the consultant’s recommendation to convene three focused stakeholder groups as part of the comprehensive-plan engagement: (1) a residents group mixing homeowners, renters and existing local developers/property owners; (2) a business-community group representing local employers and developers; and (3) a combined youth-and-senior or targeted-topic group (for example, sustainability or utilities). The commission directed staff to recruit and provide a proposed list of participants for board approval where appropriate.
