County names permanent Head Start director and reports improved enrollment
Dr. Marla Stewart announced Sarah Reich as the permanent Head Start director; March enrollment was 100% in federal slots and 98% in state slots, attendance metrics and monitoring results were reviewed and the agency reported removal of a chronically-underenrolled designation.

Dr. Marla Stewart, Director of Employment and Human Services, told the Board she has appointed Sarah Reich as the permanent Head Start director, citing Reich's 15 years with the county and experience overseeing federal and state contracts. "I have appointed Sarah as our permanent head start director," Stewart said.
