Health department reports passed nitrate audit and details on water testing program

The director announced, "I am very pleased to announce that we passed our BNR nitrate audit, which happened on March 3," and outlined two remediations and several recommendations from the DNR auditor. She explained one remediation requires that any dilution done to calculate a true nitrate value must be reported to private well owners and described how the department will adjust result forms to comply without causing confusion.
