Commissioners enter closed session under state statute; return with no action
The board voted unanimously to enter closed session under N.C. Gen. Stat. 143-318.11(a)(3) and (6) and later reconvened in open session, reporting that no action was taken in closed session.

During "other matters" the board moved into closed session at the request of staff under North Carolina General Statute 143-318.11(a)(3) and (6). Commissioner Bob Hovis moved that the board enter closed session; Commissioner Scott Sheehan seconded the motion, and the chair called the vote. The clerk announced the vote was unanimous.
