Road Supervisor: C Road ahead of schedule; 110 Rd bridge delayed after unexpected water
Road Supervisor Travis Story told commissioners the C Road project is ahead of schedule and crews will begin the last mile Wednesday; the 110 Rd bridge project is behind schedule after encountering more water than planned.

Road Supervisor Travis Story updated the Smith County Commissioners on multiple road and bridge projects at the May 11 meeting. "They are ahead of schedule right now, they will be starting the last mile on Wednesday," Story said of the C Road project, adding that shaping should finish Wednesday or Thursday and that the department will offer extended hours to willing employees. Story also said he has been coordinating with a trucking company in Lincoln about radios and routes.
