Road and bridge maintenance dominated a substantial portion of the June 22 meeting as commissioners identified specific locations needing work. Chair Kurt Ifland and Commissioners raised problems on 240 Road (a hole at the bridge and tubes between L Road and M Road), 140 Road (a landowner request for an entrance tube to an alfalfa field), and 165 Road (several holes with water running down the center of the roadway). Commissioner Jim Gwennap reported broken planks on the bridge at 100 Road and K Road and said he placed a barricade at that location. Road & Bridge Supervisor Travis Story told the board he will replace the broken planks and consult with the bridge crew on tube plans.
