At its Aug. 10 session, the Kay County Excise Board approved several transfers of appropriations across county accounts. Notably, the board moved $167,086.87 in Highway District #2 FEMA funds into Maintenance & Operations. The motion also included a $4,000 transfer from Sheriff Service Maintenance & Operations to Contract Service and an $11,000 transfer of Braman Fire Department capital outlay to Maintenance & Operations.
