Lander County adopts 2026 Community Wildfire Protection Plan after consultant presentation
Following a Resource Concepts presentation, the Board unanimously approved the Lander County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) 2026. The plan recommends a county wildland fire coordinator, communications upgrades, defensible‑space programs and fuel‑reduction projects to strengthen grant competitiveness and mitigation.
