Commissioners approve purchases, leases for Community Corrections and Recovery Court
The board approved purchase resolutions for two properties (516 S. Liberty Street and Old Denmark Road) and multiple lease agreements enabling the Madison County Department of Community Corrections and the 26th Judicial District Recovery Court to operate in Henderson, Lexington and Jackson.

The commission approved resolutions authorizing the purchase of real property located at 516 S. Liberty Street (Resolution #20.06252026) and a parcel on Old Denmark Road (Resolution #21.06252026). Both actions were recorded as Budget Committee recommendations and passed by unanimous voice vote on June 25.
