Clinton County panel votes to move local zoning review out of Siting Pathway 2
At its Aug. 25 meeting the Clinton County Materials Management Planning Committee approved a motion to remove local zoning review from Siting Pathway #2 and instead include it in Pathway #3, pending county attorney review; the roll call showed nine yes votes and two abstentions.

Member Charles Hauser proposed and the committee adopted a procedural change to how local zoning is treated in the county Materials Management Plan's siting pathways. "Member Hauser made a motion to remove local zoning from Siting Pathway #2 and include it in Siting Pathway #3 upon legal review from the county's attorney," the minutes state.
