The planning commission agreed on a public-outreach approach to feed the comprehensive-plan update. Chair and commissioners proposed a large kickoff workshop on Nov. 3 (their regular meeting slot) to present draft prompts and gather input, supplemented by smaller neighborhood workshops and targeted outreach to groups that have been underrepresented in prior sessions, such as young families, certain business owners and the historic Northeast neighborhood.
