Village to issue RFP as trash contract nears expiration

Village Administrator Lupton reported the village's contract with the local waste hauler expires at the end of the year and said staff is finishing an RFP to solicit new proposals. "Our contract with local waste is expiring at the end of this year," Lupton said, and added that legal counsel will review the RFP before it is released for responses to be evaluated this fall.
