Minutes presented to the council report that Parks & Rec will not hold a Night Market this year and that a Christmas tree has been purchased for later planting. The committee also scheduled a Dumpster Day for Oct. 17, received a volunteer-submitted plan to build a new Little Library, and is working to secure a swing set for 1st Street Park.
