The Clay County Commission read and adopted an honorary resolution recognizing September 2026 as Service Dog Awareness Month. Commissioner Whittington presented the resolution and highlighted the role of service dogs and emotional support animals in improving independence and quality of life for individuals with disabilities and veterans.
