County approves $25,000 annual marina management software contract

The Clay County Commission approved an RFP and contract for marina management software to serve all three county marinas. Parks Director John Davis said the software (top-ranked vendor from six bidders) will centralize reservations, slip assignments, waiting lists, point-of-sale functions and reporting, and allow online payments and mobile app access. Davis said the vendor can handle customized email notifications, mapping of slip occupancy and some fuel/electric monitoring integrations. The annual cost is $25,000, which the department had budgeted.
