Dunedin staff: code rewrite underway but Senate Bill 180 limits certain LDC changes until next October
City staff said the land development code rewrite is progressing but Senate Bill 180 prevents adopting amendments that are "more burdensome" to developers before next October; staff expects to present preparatory material to the LPA before year'end.

George Kinney told the Local Planning Agency that the city is actively working on a land development code rewrite to transfer policy (including compatibility provisions) into the code and to clarify mitigation strategies required by state compatibility legislation.
