The Light and Power Board voted to award funds from its Community Investment Fund to local projects recommended by an ad hoc committee. The board approved a full award to Habitat for Humanity Grand Traverse Region for $40,000 and partial awards of $12,500 to Friends of Historic Commons and $16,500 to Preserve Hickory.
