Itasca ISD middle-school staff presented on the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program and how it is being implemented across grade levels. Middle School Principal Stephanie Rieper, AVID teacher Darlene Saldierna and counselors described classroom use; students showed AVID binders and the board was shown a student-created AVID video.
