The Itasca ISD Board of Trustees approved a full proposal to repair and update the elementary playground during the Oct. 13 meeting. Trustee Willie Jackson moved to approve the proposal; Trustee Chris Slagle seconded the motion and the board voted 6–0 in favor with Trustee Kendra Markwardt absent.
