A representative of a veterans nonprofit (speaker 13) told the board the group operates multiple programs that provide counseling, outreach and emergency assistance for veterans across New England and asked permission to hold a coin-drop fundraiser in Londonderry on Oct. 18 with a rain date of Oct. 19. The presenter emphasized the importance of local coin drops to the nonprofit's operations and fundraising: "The average right now for Londonderry is $2,300," he said when asked about typical receipts in town.
