Angier approves extra soil testing for Town Park Phase 1 before bids
The Board approved a contract amendment to add additional soil testing across the full park site before bidding Phase 1, though Phase 1 itself covers only a few acres, Parks Director Austin Yarbrough said.

The Town of Angier Board of Commissioners voted 4-0 on Aug. 4 to amend the contract for Angier Town Park Phase 1 to include additional soil testing requested of consultant Withers Ravenel. Parks and Recreation Director Austin Yarbrough told the Board staff wants the testing completed prior to issuing construction bids.
