Council accepts TIF allocation receipts; RDC returns $380,000 in excess value to county
The council accepted annual tax-increment financing allocation receipts for multiple allocation areas and acknowledged the Redevelopment Commission returned about $380,000 of excess value to the county and overlapping taxing districts; both actions were approved by motion.

Council members received the annual TIF allocation-area receipts covering Middletown, Southwest, Northwest, Indiana Avenue, North Village housing, Walnut Street and Garner Street. Staff told the council there was no excess value for Middletown; motions to receive and accept the other allocations were moved, seconded and accepted unanimously.
