Nutter Run project complete; Chub Run sewer work continues and Phase II AML pre-bid set
Engineering reported the Nutter Run Project is complete pending testing samples; Chub Run sewer work is progressing with a contractor time-extension to align with a new wastewater treatment plant; Phase II AML pre-bid will be 8/20/2026 with a bid opening in early September to reroute acid mine drainage behind Food Lion and along Buckhannon Pike.

Town engineering staff told the council the Nutter Run Project construction is complete and samples will be taken on Thursday for testing; the project will be placed in service if test results are satisfactory.
