Staff told the board that construction scheduling at the public service compound freed the site and allowed the city to hold the fall waste‑collection event on Oct. 10 at 7800 Bellheimer Road, using the Walnut Road entrance for drop‑offs. Staff requested roughly 15 volunteers to help run the event (8 a.m. to noon), and noted Joseph's Coat will take information for furniture donation pickups rather than participants bringing furniture to the site.
