The Kern County Office of Education highlighted its Jobs Plus program within the RISE initiative at the Sept. 8 board meeting, showcasing hands-on student opportunities and community partnerships. An intern who worked in the communications office described digitizing archival photos to make them accessible to social media managers and the public. "My name is Eduardo. I'm a KCSOS intern. While I was working here, I would come in and I would immediately boot up into the program, which was a photo managing library," the intern said.
