The Pierce Board of Trustees voted to adopt Resolution 2026-06 on May 11, establishing an official water tap application process for the town. Trustee Geoffrey Broughton made the motion; Trustee Jeffrey Zimmerman seconded. The resolution passed on a roll-call vote with all trustees recorded as "AYES."
