The Pierce Board of Trustees voted unanimously May 11 to adopt Ordinance 2026-04, bringing the town into compliance with the state Model Wildfire Resiliency Code. Trustee Chris VanWhy moved for adoption and Trustee Richard Wuehler seconded; the ordinance passed by roll call with all trustees voting "AYES."
