Board members reviewed a recent First Friday that was affected by a storm and last-minute operating decisions. Chair described the emergency decision to keep businesses open and to promote specials online and said the event produced strong in-store activity at several businesses. Diane Rausser, a downtown business owner, disputed a circulating email that claimed poor turnout: "Not true. My store was packed full of very happy people," she said.
