During its Aug. 3 meeting, the Jasper County board authorized several disbursements from HB603 funds for volunteer fire department support. The motions approved a $1,920.87 permanent transfer from the general county fund to HB603 to correct a prior deposit, $998.57 to Comsouth, Inc. for a thermal imaging camera for Northeast VFD, $478.14 to McCool Construction for a steel door installation for Central VFD, and $1,465.68 to A‑1 Fire Equipment to assist Louin VFD in purchasing two 4.5" hard suctions and one 4.5" strainer.
