County to review Extension SSC adjustment and 4‑H educator compensation

Dr. Danelle Peck, associate director for UW Extension, introduced staffing and compensation items for the commission, asking the board to consider promoting an administrative secretary from a level that pays $52,032 to a level that would pay $57,507 annually (a $5,475 increase). Peck said the move would help retain a long‑tenured employee and better align the position with duties performed: "I'd like to promote her to a level 3 if possible," she said.
